Obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2001 in Australia and began my career in histology and cytology in a private laboratory. I then relocated to the UK, registered as a Biomedical Scientist and from 2004 – 2022 I specialised in immunohistochemistry, FISH and Companion Diagnostics and achieved a Master’s Degree in Cellular Pathology. I have been in my current role at Synnovis since 2022 and have led services in FISH and NGS in solid tumours. I am currently in my 5th year of the Higher Specialist Scientist Training Programme.
