International customer awards

OncoDNA is excited to launch its International Customer Awards at the forthcoming International User Group 2026. This initiative is designed to celebrate customer achievements while creating meaningful professional, personal, and social impact across the OncoDNA community.

What the awards provide

Professional recognition

Winning an award helps highlight expertise to peers, leadership, and the wider industry.

Career advancement

The awards provide winners with external evidence to showcase their achievements during annual performance reviews.

Personal reward

Winners will receive funding to present work supported by OncoDNA products at other conferences and events.

Social impact

Winners will decide which patient charity will benefit from the funds raised through the admin fee paid by delegates when registering for User Group that year.

Who is eligible for the awards?

Customers who have submitted a poster or presentation that has been accepted for User Group in the current year will automatically be entered into the awards.

Who can vote?

  • All customers registered for User Group in the current year can vote
  • Customers who have submitted a poster or presentation can also vote
  • Everyone will have four votes, with one vote for each award category

Note: All votes are anonymised, meaning OncoDNA will not see who is voting for whom.

What are the categories?

1. Research and innovation award

This award recognises multiprofessional scientific research and a novel approach to the use of one or more of OncoDNA’s products.

2. International partnership working award

This award recognises a laboratory organisation for stimulating collaboration or leading collaboration in order to share learnings around the use of OncoDNA’s products to shape and inform best practice more widely.

3. Operational excellence award

This award recognises how a customer has reduced complexity in NGS workflows when using OncoDNA’s products, improving overall productivity and efficiency.

4. Genomic and patient care award

This award recognises how a customer has put the patient experience of genomics front and centre in their presentation or poster.

Considerations and criteria for voting

Content

Does the summary explain the scientific research question, a business problem, or a relevant objective?

Innovative

Does the summary demonstrate original thinking or a unique approach to using OncoDNA’s products?

Logical flow

Does the summary suggest a clear structure including introduction, methods, actions, results, and conclusion?

Engagement

Does the summary speak to the specific interests and needs of User Group delegates and or patients?

Collaboration

Does the summary reference evidence of working with other professions, organisations, or patients?
